Got an email today, please help

I was checking my email and on the spam folder I recieved 3 emails with the title
"Copyright infringement from IP"

Here is the email how it looked like at the attached images

Is this serious or not

Nah, ignore that email. RIAA will never contact you directly. They will contact your ISP and then ISP will contact you. Don't download attachment and do not send any personal info, it's a scam

Its just a spam ...just ignore it...

it is bullshit. That is not how they contact you. That is just someone with too much time on their hands.

Not just time, but also they want to install some kind of malware through that attachment.

I think I should let you know, I did download the attachment out of fear.

Yeah its bullshit! I assume that your not dvddiamond because you blocked out your email in the cc list. Which by the way should have been your first red flag. Why the hell would they send a carbon copy to 17 other people.

Never download an attachment from any email unless it is someone you know and then only if you are expecting them to send you something. There email could be hacked.

Since you already downloaded the attachment I suggest you go to virustotal and submit it there to be scanned and see if it is infected. If its got a bug most likely it will be detected there unless its something brand new.
