I have an ebook (about 38 pgs long) which I created myself teaching a method of making money online which actually works (not some plr crap) and I want to start selling but I'm not sure where to start. Adwords isn't accepting my ads so I'm using Yahoo/Bing (so far I'm bidding on about 28 keywords and I've gotten more than 4,000 impressions, 8 clicks, and no conversions). I'm thinking about buying banner ads on sites using buysellads (.) com but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get any conversions on those sites. Has anyone tried them?

What else can I do to promote my ebook?

Well either your ad copy sucks or your ads aren't targeted that well. I woulc recommend optimizing your ad copy so you can see what your EPC and conversion rate is, etc.. Then advertise your EPC to affiliates, set up a page for them, add the product on clickbank, paydotcom, plimus, etc... Offer highest possible commission, and put some more affiliate links in the ebook.

Try and JV someone with a good list, see my thread on list building in the Money Making section.

Why not bring yourself up to 100 posts and offer it in the service section here? =D

I've only had 8 clicks, just because I don't have sales from 8 clicks, it doesn't mean my sales copy sucks. And 4 of them were completely untargeted, I just bid on some keywords that were trending. The other 4 were actually targeted.

Does ClickBank let you sell this type of stuff? Let your affiliates do the work for ya on there.

Also, WF may not be a bad idea. You'd have to have a pretty rock solid non-saturation method to make it long term. May as well make your quick penny on WF in the mean time, then if you do do clickbank you already have a thread to pimp the product to affiliates in.

You're joking? If you want to roll the cash in, you will need a legendary copy. Considering he has no sales, I don't think it would be wise to wreck your click bank reputation already. You really need to do some research. Honestly OP, line up some JVs before going live on clickbank so you're gravity can shoot up.

Unless you got $10,000 to blow on a sales copy, you better drive more traffic to your site and work on editing your copy.

44proseries suggested that you ad copy sucks (rather than you sales copy). PPC takes a lot of testing and you have to experiment with a bunch of different keyword / ad copy combinations. 4k impressions and only 8 clicks is a clear indication that you're doing something very wrong.

No, I wasn't joking. It was a suggestion, I honestly don't know a lot about ClickBank, that's why I asked if they let you sell this type of product. I also offered the idea of making some sales on WF before doing the ClickBank thing.

I do apologize if you believe this to be a bad idea in total, but I believe it to be best to try something rather than dismiss it because you don't have $10k..

Although, as I said, I don't know a lot about ClickBank and this was me suggesting an idea, if the OP liked the feel of it he could run his own research.

Could I see your site that you are promoting your product on? I am a web designer / developer and if the site isn't eye catching then the buyer will not buy. Also you need to promote in different areas such as forums, fb, etc.
