Got a Full Time Job In SEO!!

my last seo full time job was $500
hope your is better, like x15 better
good luck
Yeahh, the offers I'm getting are like that or half of that or the best one was twice as that. Generally most the time I'd be paid like a janitor or less so I keep refusing. So depressing. It's just not worth it to work for someone else, having your own business is the way to go...

Congrats OP, hope you'll get lotsa $$$$$ €€€€€€ and learn a lot in this job.

Marketing staff is working for marketers.
Staff is always paid peanuts. That's the rule of all organizations in the world. Who is at the top is at the top. We are living in 2022 but fundamental rules and laws of physics stay the same.

Я поздравляю вас! Я тоже занимался SEO и продвигал сайты. Но раскрутить сразу 10 сайтов... это много) удачи вам, правда!

I saw a post on indeed about a Web Developer job in my area. I got interviewed and they asked me if I know anything about SEO in which case I told them yes and showed them some example reports of private clients I've done SEO for they then offered me more money then was on the job listing and said my official title would be "Website and SEO Specialist".

So far this job has been a cake walk to be honest, all their sites are running and fully functional and I'm just piggy backing off their previous SEO company they let go when they hired me. They are already ranked very well with some very competitive local keywords with a few (about 10) Top 1, multiple(about 30) Top 3, and hundreds of Top 20.

Regardless I got very lucky and blessed with this position.
Congrats man. This is quite interesting.

I'm also applying for SEO role via LinkedIn. There's been lot of rejection man.

Currently, I'm in the final stage of one interview. From the look of things, it has been quite competitive and the recruiter would like to see some reference before giving a final verdict.

I'm optimistic about this position. While I'm not the Jedi master of SEO, I very skillful and I know my thing and can deliver results. What would you suggest I do to stand out and secure this job ( as regards the reference)

I'd be most grateful

So glad you're enjoying your job and doing well.

We think it's so important to be successful that we forget that making others successful is an important part of success.

Best of luck to you!

I'm no expert by any mean. I'm good but I don't think I'd be able to run my own agency or anything like that.

Honestly no clue how to stand out, just be genuine don't lie to them about accomplishments or over hype yourself. I personally undersold myself but they thought it was amazing I suppose.

I didn't even have SEO on my resume, it was mostly web dev and I.T related as those were the job I was applying for at the time. It was just a minor side note on my resume

With a profile picture like that, I would hire you any day of the week, tacos and fun guaranteed at the office.
