Today I got a text message from a dead number promoting a Ipod CPA offer!
How the hell did they do this because I do see the potential. First it had to be sent from the internet because the number is dead. when I clicked on the hyperlink it sent me to at least 5 rediects that I could count before the Ipod page came up. The text meassage its-self had plain hyperlink that said ipad4freetoday dot com. when I clicked the link I couldn't tell what the destination URL was it was way longer than my phone would display.
I think that there is something here. Firstly it is unlikly that this guy will be caught because unsolicited text messaging is a gray area, I'm thinking that he will be pretty successful because there are not the filters for text messages as there are for emails. If you plug a dating offer in from a friendly provider then you are rolling in the dough. I just don't know how this guy was able to send the text messages in bulk like that.
