Can you please tell how did you lift the ad limit from your account?
And did you find any solution for invalid traffic?

I used a plugin named - Ad Invalid Click Protector
Kept - Ads.txt file in the root. I allowed Google to see where the traffic was coming from.
Used - Cloudfare for a couple of days with the option enabled - Under Attack.

After a few days - I removed the Under attack option in Cloudfare.

And in a week or so the Adsense removed the limit.
