Got $6000 through Paypal!

Hi. I provide some services. I just got an order of $6000 via Paypal.
I am paying to other suppliers too in order to complete and deliver the service.

How can I protect myself from disputes or from Paypal and avoid HUGE lost in that case (even if it's rare)

U should to document all conversations with your customer. In case of dispute you'll be able to proof your honestly and initial terms of the agreement (the main thing - these conditions should be agreed by your as well).

Also, based on my own experience - if you're providing really good services, your customer will find other ways to pay you ;)

Nothing I can do?
I mean, what can I record? I have his email, his order, maybe his IP - but I don't think it will help me.
And making the process complicated with wire transfer might make that customer go elsewhere.

As i said, record every conversation, email, etc. Also pray he won't dispute.
 
Easy. Follow these Steps:

1. First of all, transfer all $6000 to your bank account
2. Make or buy a stealth account
3. Start using that account to pay to your suppliers.
4. In case of any dispute with your $6000 order, first, try to win the case. In case you loose, shun your paypal account altogether.
5. Start using your stealth account as your main account.
6. This way, your $6000 is 100% safe and even if you loose your account, you will still be having stealth account to use for future use.

I am going to deliver the best I can. However, there are scammers out there.
Regarding "shun your PayPal account altogether" - What is the process? Will I be able to remove my credit card that easy?
Won't they make all the future accounts I have to be at risk?
 
Even if you record its sh1t, paypal is just not on our side, it sucks. If you ask me I’d rather go with other payment methods and sleep well.

PayPal will threaten a lawsuit for $6,000. You will also have debt collectors after you for years.

Yes. You will receive a lifetime ban, which is why he says to use a stealth account.

The only real solution, in my opinion, is using a non-reversible payment method.

Interested to know what you mean by stealth account. Never heard of that expression in the past.

The only stealth real account that I know of are crypto really and I may be wrong.
 
Best you can do is to record everything. So put under invoice description briefly, this will be considered a base of your transaction agreement.
I see you're selling a service, if its online service... do screencast on how you do it, screencast help me once to win moneysite transaction dispute

If u sell physical products send them only to address attached to customers paypal. Otherwise, Paypal have right to resolve every future dispute in favor of the customer. Been there done that.
 
I'd seriously suggest you don't use PayPal for this. Scammers love pulling chargebacks.

Not sure I understood you correctly, but if you mean buying something with PayPal that could be a scam; simply do a chargeback if it turns out be a scam.
