Alright this may seem funny to you and all my friends thought it was but here it goes. My local mattress store was having a sale. They were paying commission to who ever helped sell mattress. I decided to give this a try. One day i walked in there and grabbed all the fliers. Took me a while but i ended up putting my name on every single flier (fliers had discounts on them so people would take them). As people used the fliers on a purchase of a mattress my name would be there and i got credit for it. I thought this was a pretty genius idea of mine :P. Anyways, thought I would share this funny story with you and if your local mattress store ever does this, than you should defiantly check it out.

this reminds me of that black hat method from back in the day where you would go into a bank and fill out all the deposit slips with your bank account and then people would deposit their check and it would go into your account.

Ha! amazing that people actually got away with that

Nice way to be creative though with the matress fliers
 
Kinda reminds me of putting jars for donations to the [insert initials here] Fund everywhere and collecting weekly.
 
Excellent idea mate. Sometimes these offline ideas can take off if you scale them correctly.

I'm currently thinking about car washes and hiring those Mexicans...

one of the posts on here was talking about car washes and how he was banking on this idea!!! Good luck on your future endeavor

where did you end up putting the fliers with your names on them? did you just put them back in the store where you found them? sorry i apologize if the answer is obvious to everyone but not me
 
A great twist to this is those mobile phone companies. They always have these "promotional" offers and are looking for affs almost all the time. They sell like hot cakes.
