got 15.edu links but still no SERP movement

My website has been stuck at 2-3 page ofr several months. Build PBN and web2.0s but no movement. KWs are medium competitive.

Now, I build 15 .edu links on one of the subpages but still there is no movement.

What could be the reason?

Where did you got those .edu links?

Most probably you got these edu links from fiverr which are basically profile links. They do not hold any value.

no sir. I mailed to these universities since my website was giving valuable information to students. They added my website on theirs.

Make sure Google have catched those edu pages... Check cache:http://www.example.com - You can open it directly on chrome. For firefox, type this in the Google search bar and hit enter. See when was the last time Google cached that page... This way you can see if Google crawlers have picked up your site or not.

hey great method to see if page has been crawled after you added link to it.

1. Analyse the competition of your keyword.
2. Analyse the On-Page Factors of Competitors and Compare with your Site.
3. Analyse your competitor's back-links profile.
4. Add more informative & useful contents with images, videos, infographics, and etc.

Only PBN's, Web 2.0, Edu links are not working at all the times. To boost your ranking in SERP’s you need to get quality links from authority sites, social media shares, by using Q & A sites. Do follow blog comments.. etc...

Its not just links alone that push SERP rankings! There are 100's of reasons as to why your page goes up or down in the rankings. Are these .edu niche related and is the link "********"? Just because you have 1000's of backlinks will not give you a guaranteed place at the top. You also need to check if these links have been indexed. If not you won't get any juice from them. When did you get these so called .edu links because it can take sometime for google to index them especially if it's a college/university page that google does not crawl all the time.

There are dozens of reasons why you have not moved just yet. You can either do the research your self and find out why or play the waiting game. Choice is yours.
