Yes, "g" does have it's own network. I have noticed that for the last 2 years.

Google is a copywrited name. Therefore they can either 1) Force you to give up the domain. 2) Sue you for copyright infringement or something like that.

Its just like Facebook. They are threatening to sue people with the name facebook in their domain names.
