So while I've been out of education and searching for employment, I got hit with three set-backs:

TL;DR: Does Google reward us for using Google services.

  1. I got hired by a facility cleaning services providing company, they told me I'd start mid-September so I compiled a list of social posts and graphics alongside the research put into them.
  2. I got hired by a roofing company to do some paid advertising, that one didn't go ahead too.
  3. I had to figure out a right way of tracking everything as soon as I got these services moving; it's a shame they didn't go ahead.
With that in mind, over the past two months I've solidified my knowledge of Google Ads, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner and so on, and so on...

My question today is, if we're working on rankings on Google - and Google provide us with all of these tools, would they rate us above the next ranker if say we had a very well set up analytics profile, each conversion and path tagged well with Tag Manager, reports forwarded via Looker Studio and Google Drive...

I want to get certified in all of this, I'm nearly done.
Need emotional support.

The answer is generally considered to be no, although many people think that they do use google services to identify PBNs, possibly just by shared tags (IE adsense, analytics). Webmaster tools can definitely help with SEO (for example to request indexing faster than Google might discover on their own).
