Google's SEO competition fluctuation?

Hey guys, I'm going for a site which I saw yesterday it has about nearly 60K competition. Then, today I checked at it has up to 130K competition... WTF?! Is that? It doesn't make sense. I already bought a backlink package for it as well. What do you think I should do, should I keep trying or give up on it?

I never look at those numbers and you should do the same. Why are you trying to rank a website ? because you want it to be on top 10, so you should look at the competition on the first page and then decide if it's gonna be achievable or not.

Nevermind. When I look on mobile it's way more accurate than desktop.
