Google's SEO Blackhole

The first person I heard speak about Blackhole SEO, was years ago from Eli over at Bluehatseo. Interesting articles, both.

Its true, internal linking within YouTube can get you a high pr "Channel". I did this a while back, just went on YouTube friended, commented, and subscribed high PR user channels and within a few weeks my own channel got a PR5 with a backlink to one of my sites!

Well they need to be sneaky if they want to survive. The company has always failed miserably on every effort to internally come up with something else as an additional income source. From Orkut through blogs, answers, payment processing to video sharing (I am sure I'm forgetting stuff). They even had to buy the cookie tracking model (Urchin).

The thing that still works is the search and that's because it is patented by an university and they have exclusive rights to use it. The clock is ticking though and when ~2020 comes everyone will be legally able to serve results based on BLs. The closer the deadline, the more ugliness is going to emerge I reckon. Even today there is not a trace anymore of the libertarian viewpoint of the managers, a viewpoint they used to swear on at the beginning. Do you still remember the 'testing of prospective employees for googliness'?

this hit home the most, I think we get caught up "in the moment" and DO forget, the internet is really young. even the industrial era is young, started after my grandmother was born.........the internet is super young. theres no telling what things will be like in 10 years, just look how far we have come in 10 alone. only time will tell.

i really dont undestand all those google bashing. Its so cheap. Google is just the new microsoft.
Internetmarketing and seo would be a pain in the ass if there where 30 different search engines. Also anyone who can not make money with google is just an idiot. Even my mother can rank on google if she would try. And she asks me how to turn on the computer.

I am so happy google exists. And please tell me any big cooperation that is as nice as google. You wont find any....
