Good news! Matt Cutts is on a vacation, or missed his meeting for this video, or maybe he wasn't hip enough for the SEO for Startups niche.

Anyhow, here's a 10-min clip Google just released yesterday on SEO for startups.

After watching that video. It is clear it is merely more propaganda from Google.

Certain topics she covers, such as naming child pages and descriptive anchor text will trigger penguin's over optimization filter.

Honestly, all I heard was "bla bla bla bla sit there and do nothing bla bla bla".

I'm still going to do what I've done to rank.

Remember Google does NOT tell its employees or the tech department how its algorithm really works.

That part is the patented code of Google itself, only a few people know about it, so all these spokes people are not speaking the truth.

    I agree.

Even if they did know, it is NOT in their best interest to help webmasters. Their business model has changed from search to advertising.

I thought this was about SEO? Most of it was opposite to SEO, it was more like she was trying to say:
You wont get anywhere, but just pretend you will, and remember we are Google, shitting on the little guy...

Actually if u stop being so negativist, you might achive something.

They confirmed a lot of stuff that's been buzzing the IM forums for the last weeks, social media,301 redirects and a few more that are harder to observe for an untrained SEO'er.
Looking on the other note, this was supoused to help newbies starting with their sites, wich in my opinion was just a waste of 10 minutes.
