Google's New Site

It's like an article directory with a power like wikipedia.


I noticed in the comments and articles you can include hyperlinks. I don't know how well moderated this is since it just launched, but this has to be good for some link juice. I'm sure the google bots are slamming this site like crazy since they own it.

You can also become verified I'm guessing that means instant publishing instead of waiting for someone to approve it. The two ways are phone number or credit card.

If anyone has tested on this and has more details feel free to share.

I put this in white hat, but I can definitely see big black hat potential with this site.

Great bit of info i dont know how long it will take them to deactivate hyperlinking but hey if you are not spamming you should be ok

I thought that you needed to be preapproved to post ? Is this not the case ? Are Googele using people to build the intiial content, then going to lock us all out. Fine by me if we getlink juice for a while!!!

I always log out and create a new google account any time I'm going to use any of their services. Google and Yahoo are actually cool when you abuse them, they don't ban all of your accounts, they just ban you from each particular service.

I actually have an adwords and adsense account with the same info (I'll never do that again). I owe money on the adwords (for months now) and they still pay me the adsense monthly. Somehow they don't put everything together.

Also a WSO just launched today about this site. So people are taking notice.
