Google's new QR code verification

As you know google has dropped a new update to replace phone verification. After scanning the QR code using your phone, you are directed to a page with a button, "Send SMS". What happens after clicking it? My phone just gets a loading animation that goes on and on. I have tested with other phones. Same result. I think it my be due to number of accounts on our phones.

What are the exact steps on the phone? Does anyone know a video on net that shows the rest?

This new QR method can be buggy initially. Your idea about too many linked profiles on the device might be the problem. Try it on a clean browser, maybe incognito mode, or even a completely separate device that doesn't have other Google logins active. Sometimes browser extensions or VPNs can also mess with these scripts. There aren't any hidden steps; it should just send the SMS.

I meant too many accounts on the phone not the browser. One other reason of the problem I am accoutering could be probably my region. In that case a guide of needed steps or a video is my only solution.
 
The QR holds a link that should be opened using a phone. It automatically opens the messaging app on your phone and writes the message. The message format looks like this:

Send this message without editing. (Token)

The token is unique and generated for your exact request. Then you just hit the send button and the gmail creation process gets completed on browser.

If you have multiple accounts on your phone, the messaging doesn't open and can't get the token.

This is not a bypassing method or something. I just wanted to know what happens after scanning the qr code using a clean phone.

it depends whether the qr code connected through your sim or wifi

if through your sim then google will register your number but you can still
open up between two to five separate accounts with one phone number

through wifi theres no number needed

Do you mean if you scan the QR Code using your phone and your phone is connected to a wifi network (and not using sim data), then it doesn't require you to send any messages?

good question.

If your phone has no SIM, can you create an unlimited number of Gmail accs?
 
After clicking "Send SMS," Google should automatically send a silent, background verification SMS. The endless loading usually means it failed, often due to using a VOIP number, a heavily used device, or a blocked carrier. Try with a clean device and a real mobile number. A full video walkthrough is hard to find as the process is new.
 
It's really very hard process
Everytime need to change phone or simcard.
Before we use manually phone number to pass the verification step
but, now it's very tricky.
