Google have finally posted their docs on apparent best practices to optimising your sites for all their AI offerings. Just like their other 'SEO guides' it's very general, sanitised, and makes enough denials in the 'Mythbusting' section to make you think they're attempting the distraction technique: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/ai-optimization-guide
Additionally they've also updated their spam policies covering their gen AI responses: https://developers.google.com/searc...y-to-generative-ai-responses-in-google-search
My response - just keep doing SEO like you were doing before. GEO/AEO/etc is a direct outcome of doing good SEO.
