Googlebot crawling frequency / indexed pages / ranking correlation

Hi y'all,

I would like to know your feedback on any apparent correlation between the following items:

• Googlebot crawling frequency
• number of indexed pages
• ranking

Authority websites do usually have a better indexing rate/budget and do normally rank higher,
that can also slightly vary with the type of the website & the number of pages

Apart from this, there's no direct colleration between each of these for real,
You can index thousands of spammy posts (with an auto blog for example), but most of them won't rank for any med and above difficulty keywords
