    Hey everyone.

I have few social media campaigns but I never did Google+ before.
I read that the average time on site is only like 3 minutes.

Do you think its a worth putting effort in it?

    Thanks for your tips!

IMO, G+ has been giving advantages in SEO for companies using G+. Utilize this meta tag:

    <link rel="author" href="https://plus.google.com/[YOUR PERSONAL G+ PROFILE HERE]"/>

For the more modular version you would emulate XFN's rel-me and place the link directly on the page. I've got to admit this is a great link building strategy.

    <a href="[profile_url]?rel=author">Google</a>

    Good luck!

Google has been putting a lot of emphasis on google plus

    It definitely helps in SEO

Just to give an example, I have an offline client whose website traffic jumped from 30k visitors a month to approx '35k+ visitors a month' within 2 months after he got google plus 1s on his website

Not sure if this post is completely related to the OP but it does relate to the one above.

In the UK Google are turning up at high footfall events with marquees and computers (Apple ironically), and asking customers to write reviews about local businesses.

Historically G has been harvesting other companies reviews, eg Yelp etc. but it is clearly making a big push to actually get its own reviews.

    This is separate to G+.

My offline business is on G+ and has a page, BUT that page is completely different to the G page (local) where people can leave reviews even though it looks similar.

These reviews have to have a big impact on ratings bearing in mind the money G is pumping into them. Yes?

I haven't heard much (if any) discussion on the difference between a Company G page, and a Company G Local page and how it will affect rankings.

FWIW (I hope I haven't been blind and missed loads of discussions on this point) :)

    Cheers,

    Phil

I think you could try but, as I observed, you can see some results with G+ if your working with communities; find the most relevant and popular. Communities reach people that'll eventually discover your campaign.
