siri what ? siri is a toy , not really useful other than exact term search . For instance if you are shopping for a discount watch the results are stupid and very limited. It will never improve over this . So siri is already dead before it started its great for like finding a local restaurant or the webpage or phone number for a brand website or number but thats about it .

So if mobile internet users rise, we'll surely see a change in google also!

Very possibly but google is a public company quoted on the Nasdaq and as such it is expected to make money and lots of it. Only its search function returns any meaningful earnings which have diminished each of the last 4 quarters.
The reasons for that are known the solution as to how they will turn it around is not.
 
Google lost a few billion when they released their company results early on wall street leading to trading being ceased on their stocks. It lost them 24 billion dollars in one day apparently.

Pocket change for them I imagine..

interesting read but are completely bias.

They haven't though what google can do in 5 years. I have Iphone yself but are still doing research via Google directly on my iphone.

One more thing if google is one person then google is the richest person world wide. Now imagine if in 5 years google can buy anything. Apple in 1 case. or get into the mobile industry and completely destroy apple which they can do..

Google won't die cause of this. They will migrate to users needs..

Google will eventually go over to another approach and that's giving people with the most money the best opportunity.
It's going to evolve slowly in search engine website where we find ourselves browsing ads.

Dear god, have people around here got absolute no business sense whatsoever?

How could Google turn into just a big paid ad directory? Are they mind controlling us into using them? We use them while they're useful. If they changed into a big directory of paid ads then people would stop using them and move to other SE's.

The market takes care of its self.
