I agree ..google has a long term planning to be in the market ...no one knows what google come up with ...they are good enough to buy anything related to mobile stuff ..they will not allow some one else to take giant leap ...before some one come up they will take over :)

lol this is hilarious. While I definitely think that they will have some trouble with future growth (particularly because everyone already uses them, and because of mobile phones) I wouldn't say that they'll disappear.

yeah, i make my money through iTunes selling apps so i don't really have much skin in the game in google anymore...thank god!

I was thinking about this...I am on a number of forums that relate directly to my niche and I defend my company as passionately as @MaxTucker defends google and the only reason I defend my company as he does google is b/c I have a financial reason to do so...

Also, @MaxTucker seems to reference "Cadie and Eric" by their first names like he knows them personally...this guy seems to be an econ/pr rep...when has anyone here referenced authors by their first name, like he/she knows them...

i don't know, this guy seems super fishy...

I'm sorry, but this guy knows "Cadie and Eric" so much so that he calls them by their first names and he says his investigations were no effort b/c he knows these individuals so intimately...google must have hired this guy as a public relations rep to get on this forum and talk good about them..

who among us here can recite such information about specific authors with no effort?

Google has their eggs in much to many baskets to be going anywhere, I personally don't think they will dominate the web for ever either but that doesn't mean they are going anywhere.
