Google Webmaster Tools - Safe?

I'm thinking about hosting 50 domains on different C class IP's and I also want to submit a sitemap to google webmaster tools for each domain to help google spider my pages faster. Do you guys think I should submit all my sites to google webmaster tools under the same account?

If you asked then I think you already know the answer.

Doing this leaves a footprint, it tells google these sites are connected.

If you are trying to avoid this then don't submit them under a single account.

Keep in mind that if you are using the same adsense account or the same analytics account or the same domain registration info...etc... on all those sites they are connected anyways, if anyone at google cares to check.

The real question is does Google care? In my experience right now they dont, but this could change.

Personally, I don't.

I:

- bulk the accounts together into small, unrelated groups
- Log in on a separate, clean browser that I never use for anything but checking these things
- Log in via a cell connection on an internet stick to get a different IP (tethered cell also works)

Necessary? probably not
Paranoid? probably yes

I do this because I have some very very whitehat sites that do ok that I do my best to keep at more than arms length from some other projects

Who are you using for your c-class hosting, just out of interest?

You can put all of your money sites under one account if you want, since you typically won't be cross-linking them anyways.

Never put your link network sites under the same google account. In fact, you should use a seperate account for each site. The same goes for hosting accounts and domain registrars. Never register the domains using the same info.

Thanks for all your input guys. Yeah I'm actually thinking about interlinking this network of sites to gain link juice so I guess I'll have to take those extra precautions after all.

So far we got:

1) Different analytics accounts or alternative log tracking
2) Different google webmaster accounts
3) Different C class IP's
4) Different registration info for domains
5) Creating accounts from different IP's and making virtual machines to log in with clean cookies? Don't know if I'm willing to do that.

But then there is also Adsense....

So what to do about Adsense? They can still track sites by the same adsense id, which renders all the other disguising efforts futile...

Then is the only safe way (if I'm going to interlink this whole network of sites) to remove adsense and just leave affiliate links?

In the end, this is just being extra paranoid anyway, I've had a network of about 10 sites all interlinked from all the pages for over a year now, and they stay and rank in google just fine. They are also hosted on the same IP and I use same analytics, webmaster and adsense accounts. The only downside to this I see here is the same IP because google apparently doesn't value links which come from the same IP as much as it values many different links from various IP's.
