Google webmaster tools linked to sites under same account

Hello,

A question that I am not entirely sure, if I use the same gmail account for google webmaster tools/analytic
for all the different domains/blogs/sites, does it actually hurt the promotion of the sites ?

Do they make a connection that if it's under the same person then he is trying to "trick" the system ?

Depends.

If you are thinking of building a linking network then putting them all into one GWMT account would not be good (but not as bad as some might think) Google are more interested in content and context.
Say they are all yours, but you keep them fed with tons of good regular content they probably won't mind.
However, if you fill them with versions of the same spammy overspun crap - they probably will spot them and be helped to spot them by them all being linked.

Depends what you are using them for.
Some people here have hundreds of Adsense accounts across just a couple or Google accounts - and they get away with it.

Just depends what you are using the sites for and how good they are.
