Hey guys,

I’m facing an issue with a Google account and I’m trying to understand where it comes from and how to fix it.

Whenever I try to complete an action, Google shows this message:

We couldn’t verify it’s you
We want to make sure it’s really you trying to complete this action.
To help us verify it’s really you:

  • Ensure the devices you normally use to sign in are turned on and have network connection
  • Use a device and browser you’ve signed in on before
  • Use a familiar Wi-Fi network

I would like to know:

  • What usually triggers this verification loop?
  • Is it related to IP reputation, device fingerprint, cookies, browser profile, VPN/proxy, or account history?
  • What are the best ways to recover access and pass the verification?
  • Is there any way to reset the trust signals Google has stored for the account?
I already tried using different browsers/devices, but I’m still getting the same message.

Any advice or experience with this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Avoid frequently switching devices, IPs, and browser environments. Try to use a long-term, stable login environment and restore account trust one by one. Do not perform batch operations at the same time.
