I’m facing an issue with a Google account and I’m trying to understand where it comes from and how to fix it.
Whenever I try to complete an action, Google shows this message:
We couldn’t verify it’s you
We want to make sure it’s really you trying to complete this action.
To help us verify it’s really you:
- Ensure the devices you normally use to sign in are turned on and have network connection
- Use a device and browser you’ve signed in on before
- Use a familiar Wi-Fi network
I would like to know:
- What usually triggers this verification loop?
- Is it related to IP reputation, device fingerprint, cookies, browser profile, VPN/proxy, or account history?
- What are the best ways to recover access and pass the verification?
- Is there any way to reset the trust signals Google has stored for the account?
Any advice or experience with this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks!
