Google vs YouTube question

So using my keyword I am on the first page of Google. This is pretty exciting to me because all of the other videos on there just crush me on YouTube. They all have thousands of likes, views, and comments so I am guessing this is the reason they are ahead on YouTube (please correct me if I am wrong). On YouTube the keyword search I do, I am on page 4. BUT the big question is; a video on the first page has similar stats (channel wise) and my video is better optimized to rank before their video yet it doesn't. What is the problem?

If you want to set this search up go to YouTube and search Battlefield 4 Montage -- Watermelone's video is ranked on the first page and mine is on the 4'th page (FinalStandLabs is my Username) my video is half way down on the 4'th page or so. So the question is wtf? And I have backlinks for my video, likes, and I ordered some high retention views not to long ago. So what am I doing wrong?

Don't worry about it too much. If you are ranking on Google then move on to the next project.

Every single video on the first page (20 results) come from a Channel with very high PR. In fact, a large majority of them have a PR of 5 or 6. Your Channel doesn't have any PR.

Hey thanks for the feedback! How do I check PR for my Channel? I searched around and didn't find a good tool to do so and my second question is how do I get to PR 5 or 6? Is it subscribers or did they back link the hell out of their channels? Thanks for the feedback guys!

We haven't had a PR update for a good few months and Matt Cutts has said there wont be another one for sometime.

So I wouldn't focus on that so much

The easiest way to check PR on those pages is with a plugin/extension in your browser. So if you are using Firefox or Chrome just search on PR extension. I use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pagerank-status/hbdkkfheckcdppiaiabobmennhijkknn?hl=en.

Thanks! Im guessing I should just promote the hell out of keyword videos till it draws in the subscribers.
