So, Google said that is going to penalize in SERPS sites that receive a lot of copyright infringements claims.

Does that mean that Youtube is going to vanish from Google's results page? [/sarcasm]

See the other side of this.

Google will also penalyze sites that are distributing the plugins , themes stuff because of DMCA stuff. so we won't able to get the results for those products, so that means we go to other sites or check other search engines. we can argue that these type of users are either using adblockplus or not worth getting click on adwords, but either way one less person searching on google for many keywords.

Google is loosing few users here, surely they have seen this before implementing.

Well, being myself a victim of the very first Panda iteration that literally destroyed my Adsense income, I couldn't be happier to see some REAL competition for the big G in the search engines world. Their monopoly is sickening.

This is more directed towards the film and recording industry and is part of a long term agreement that was made when the Google Play Store was built. They have to be legally-held-up copyright claims, not just when you file a complaint. They have stated that just filing complaints and infractions won't stop a site, it has to actually hold up legally.

They're just like paypal...I don't think that they give a rat's ass about people being shady, just as long as its not them who's being ripped off. Just try a search for replica+any brand and the engines are filled with them, not to mention youtube. They are more talky than walky.
