Google updates

Personally, I'm going to continue publishing at my normal rate but will be ensuring I'm not using any black-hat methods or anything that could be considered a grey area within the Google guidelines.

In my opinion, we should continue publishing new articles, especially if you see some boosts in rankings or traffic.

I have 2 sites that are getting some solid boost, a new sites with 0 backlinking done, fresh domains, no history, just good content with good on page optimization.

In short, it's like: Google checked my website and decided to "give me a chance", now if I stop publishing new articles I am sending them a crystal clear signal that I am thinking about an update and that there is a "possibility" that they will deindex my site.

With new articles, I am sending a clear signal to Google that I will continue to "follow their instructions" and progress in every way.

This is just my opinion, I've been testing all over the place for the last 5+ months, we'll see... Just my 2 cents.

I hope you will understand the point, which is briefly described.

Don't get the question.
I publish content when I get it from my writer and don't care about stupid G updates.

Why we should not publish content during Google updates?
You should do the opposite. Keep adding posts but if possible adhere to changes announced in the latest update while preparing posts.

Unless your content drastically deviates from Google's guidelines, it’s unlikely that an update will negatively impact your ranking.

It is too risky because the updates may impact search rankings and visibility. Waiting until the update and adjust your content strategy accordingly, minimizing potential negative impacts on your site's performance.

I am still publishing. Even though my traffic has dropped a lot. I did minor changes to the pages that were ranking and got dropped. Still waiting for my rankings to get back.

Why not? You can publish your content anytime continuously. The only thing is it may gonna take longer time to get index.

I like to publish to see how fast my sites are getting their content indexed! Defo do it,

During major Google updates there can be Variation search rankings and traffic. Publishing new content during these periods may make it difficult to accurately assess the impact of the update on your website's performance.
if you have valuable content ready to be published there is no strict rule against publishing during Google updates

My suggestion will be to avoid posting content when Google updates are happening to keep your site's search rankings stable and avoid issues.

You can publish the content with good quality and it follows google guidelines. Montior your website performance and do the things needed

So you keep publishing even if you are dropping in rankings?

So you keep publishing even if you are dropping in rankings?

I said in case of "boost" = better ranking, more traffic, in that case, yes, otherwise, no, of course.

During the search algorithms updates they're updating the rules of the game for how websites should get ranked in search results. If you publish content during these updates, it's a bit like shooting in the dark – you might hit the target, but you might also miss it because the rules have changed. Plus, Google's crawlers might be a bit preoccupied during updates, so your new content might not get noticed right away. But, that doesn't mean you should totally stop publishing; just keep an eye on Google's announcements, focus on making content rich with information, and be ready to adapt your SEO game plan as needed. It's all about staying flexible.

You are the pilot of your own plane. You can publish articles and that is what I do in every Gupdate.
