Why so many huge updates weekly, isn't this an indicator that google is doing something wrong?

because google lost the control of his algorithm. Since January the problem to index pages continue even using high quality content.

Well google employees get extra pay for irritating publishers, just kidding. I guess we will never know why but just do your basics right and you’ll face no issues

Yepp there is google update happening now.

Something wrong since 17th December. Google employees and mods on their webmaster forum blame the webmasters. Something is seriously wrong with the crawler. Google is not addressing this issue. Not sure if they are even aware of this (they should be). Its a shit show.

Whats even more funny is how their algo worked better in 2012 than in does now in 2020. This happen if you heavily over-optimize your business...they always want to improve themselves and they keep ruining their working product.

Its like a guy who makes a video games, which is popular and nice, but then he releases too many updates and slowly destroys the gameplay etc.

Not really, Google the search engine is just software, and software needs to be constantly updated.

No. The post is meant for "Huge updates" not normal updates.
