Google update

Hi.
Yes that was my intentions. I requested earlier permission to share some knowledge on the board. Awaiting reply to my message. I was unsure if I would be welcomed to share loopholes given the fact eyes could be viewing the board. I have one particular stratagy I would like to share. A sort of replacement for the not so effective 301 stratagy that was popular in many niches. It has also proven to cleanse domain on an algorithm penalty like 301ing use to back in the day. It's a great way of link building for free, keeping costs down for you.
Am I ok to post this big g arse fucking strat on here for all? Thanks

I think it has to do with sites that were mmostly targeting "best" and "review" and other similar type keywords and mostly selling hard without providing much value to the surfer.

Also, @methode (who works for Google) tweeted about sites that are a shallow container for affiliate links today...

So apparently, Gary Google pretty much said there is nothing wrong with affiliate links but the focus should be on the user. He specifically pointed out
https://thepointsguy.com/ as a quality review/affiliate site. If you are doing sites like besttoasteroven etc you are more likely to get fucked.

Should really read all of the articles I posted above and draw your own conclusions.

Most of the sites that I noticed that dropped had mostly affiliate content; pages targeting "best this" and "best that".. with "reviews"... linking to Amazon.

Sites that had more user-friendly content didn't seem as affected.

Some sites with all reviews and affiliate content were still strong enough to withstand... For example, organic for bestproducts.com actually went up even though that is one of the spammiest affiliate sites around but it's strong and owned by Hearst. Look at consumersearch.com; it tanked from traffic worth 619k to 502k... all of the sites that are tanking are still tanking more a little at a time every day. In Ahrefs you can see where it's at daily on the chart and it's still going down.

If you have ahrefs just plug in random big sites with a strong focus on affiliate content and click on "organic search" and look at the chart. Some sites literally tanked, like it's a straight line going down...

I saw some very strange things around this update. On sites with no affiliate relation.
Sites that I know where hit by panda in 2016 bounced back heavily. Sites that where not in first 30 pages jumped up 25 pages or more. Some of which I know where ranked with software (senuke and mainly magic submitter). I can show you a site that is on page 5 for a very heavy keyword in my niche and all it has is one nofollow wiki link with the wiki having 4 tiers of Spammy shit behind it. I can also show you another site that's hosted on WordPress that got ate by penguin that's now page 2 for a good keyword, It too was a test site that was hit hard with magic submitted a few years ago with a 5 tier method of some real spam. I can see over a 100 of these sites that where crippled 3 years ago now ranking well. So well we pushed 4 to middle of page 1 in the last few weeks and they responded like Google where up their arse.
To me it looks clearly like link placements Google once crippled it's now giving weight to. In particular where 1st tiers where built using blogs and wikis or similar contextual links.
Is it possible they changed goal posts back a few years in part, thinking no one will use that link structure any more? They only have so much they can do to fuck Seo up to ensure AdWords purchases after all.
Anyone want a deeper explanation please pm me and I will share the sites url so you can see it for yourself.
Thanks
