I'm the same. All of my Keywords on the two Niche sites I'm running were healthy with steady and natural link building going into them. Today I checked the SERPS and the vast majority that had been going up nicely, one or two spots a day/week, have plumeted 30-40 positions.

Perhaps this game isn't for me. The sites that soar seem to be the ones that build spammy, rubbish links fast, sell on flippa and get out ASAP. Maybe there isn't room for someone looking to do the hard yards like I originally thought there may be

In the last 2 days I've lost from 20-80 positions on a few kws but then on two I jumped to #1 - all on the same domain. Def some sort of dance going on.

I did notice one competitor using paid footer links get wiped out. I am also seeing ALOT more YouTube videos in the top 20!

When i google "facebook", I would think facebookcom would show up. Instead, a yahoo answers result comes up.

Talk about broken.
