Anyone that use SAPE links see huge drop in rankings today?
Put one and one together and get 33.
Yep. I noticed a huge drop yesterday.
What kind of quantity of SAPE links are you guys using to your sites?
Glad i ditched my links a couple of weeks ago.
I dont use sape links for my clients, but still seeing drop for few of my clients. It seems to be general update rather targeting sape link users.
Using 2 sites on Sape only.. No drops over here. One keyword went from #53 to #23 today. Rest is stable.
Just noticed a big drop for one of my sites. I bought some sape links few months ago for that site and now it's almost gone from google serps.
Lucky me that I was inspired not to buy sape links for my other sites.:top:
yeah, maybe 10% went off from my traffic
My 1 KW had a huge drop down.
I had improvements only
No there was an update but not specific for SAPE its for almost all..
my main competitor still dominate the first page with his SAPE links, while i'm dropped without SAPE. THis update is not about SAPE, i'm sure.
I personally think that the main target was sape since a few weeks ago Matt Cutts acknowledged it (Indirectly):
I think this is one of google's shot gun updates, what I mean by that is that even though they have a specific target in mind, they never really hit the bulls eye (hence why unrelated sites gets effected):
But until offical word comes out, this is all speculation.
Its a spam update, and google start deindexing site every min, And many other sites ranking are affecting ,
Check this our http://www.google.com/insidesearch/howsearchworks/fighting-spam.html
the big slap is coming in, thats for sure!
I don't think its only sape target, there are some other platforms on target or some signals which lead to lower rankings.
It's not a spam update, being honest no one knew what the last update was targeting,I see it being no different for this one.
yikes. I dropped out a couple weeks ago and my SAPE test site hurled forward yesterday and today. But I also have super high quality GSA links pointed to the site... high quality = highly spun 99% and unreadable. might be the same thing to big G.
