Google Update Recovery - Advice Please

I got hit by the recent update because my KW density was too high as I just went off what the Yoast plugin told me (possible other reasons too). So, I fixed the KW density 2 weeks ago but I have not seen any improvements, how long do you normally wait before trying the next change?

I do not want to panic and keep changing tons of things without actually finding out what helps but I also want to recover in the near future!

How long do you normally wait?

how do you know you got hit because of keyword density?

The yoast plugin is used by a lot of people/websites but it is NOT a credible tool to be used as an SEO content evaluator.

I think it is likely a combination of things but until the 8th I did not know my KW density was bad, so that is the 1st thing I am sorting out. Given everything I have read on BHW it is not clear exactly what the update targeted but the general conversation has opened up improvements for my site that can only help.

So, how long do you normally wait when making changes to on page SEO before tweaking again?

I have learnt that and rectified the on page KW density. So, how long do you normally wait when making changes to on page SEO before tweaking again?

you can't go with exact timeline here. You must be aware of that fact right?

You seem pretty certain you were only hit because of keyword density. How about other factors?
