Hello,

My site was starting to grow very quickly until about a month ago, when my impressions started to drop like crazy. They are now not very many and are only like 1/10th of what they were and clicks have dropped a lot too from google searches.

Link profile isn't much and there's no manual penalty. Site was created about 8 months ago and I have been adding content semi-regularly. I am going to add some links and keep creating content in the meantime and just wait it out.

Am I sand boxed? Or is this just a google update?

If I am in the google sand box, how do I get out of it?

The term 'sandbox' is usually reserved for new sites. If you were getting traffic, you don't suddenly so back into it.

Have you tried looking at the position changes of your top-performing keywords/queries in Search Console?

How much traffic was the site getting? If it's relevantly small, one keyword or page dropping just a few places and have a disproportionally large effect on your traffic.

There were updates so things changed. Not a sandbox probably.
Should check individual kws and who is ranking for them now and why.

exactly like my site...
i have 4 months old site.. backlink a 100 maybe...
ranked for page 2 medium kw, for 2 months, and ranked for page 1 for another medium kw for about 2-3 weeks,, and sudennly 2 weeks ago drop to pages 8, and pages now where (means gone)...
and tonight after i wait about 2 weeks, my sites raise again slowly, some kw enter page 3, and some kw enter page 2 again.. no changes i've made to onpage site.. just wait...
i dont know what happen.

btw, 3-4 days a go i just add new backlink from wikipedia, google playstore, and amazon..

There were so many updates that happened last month, and just a couple of days ago. Last month, it was a huge algo update, and just a couple of days back, it's BERT, so with so many updates happening, I think it should be a dance. They mentioned that it supposed to improve the quality of the search, but I doubt that they are getting anywhere near that other than the hoo-haas from these stupid updates.

It looks like your website was hit by the Google September release. It was the same for me. I think that Google implemented algorithm that excluded bookmarks links. So, it is like google stopped to take some of your backlinks into account.

That's not the sandbox. I'm pretty sure that updates could cause it. You have to check.
