Google Update? My site is effected whats the plan?

Hi all,

My site recently around 15-17 January have lost its rank on google.dk
I was recently rank #2 but now Im kicked down to #8.
I have no understanding what could have effect my site, and nether can I find a solution to gain back my position?

My site is uniggardin and I normally rank as #2 on keyword rullegardiner.
Is there any of you experts that could give me a hint?

I had the same experience. I lost #1 position after 3 years and after surviving all animals updates (pandas, penguins etc.). Also in non-English American market, medium competition keywords.
Yesterday evening thoug, my site come back to #1. The truth is that no-one of my competitors use systematic seo. I'm the only one, using 99% manual SEO action on money site. No EMD.

Hi xpeztum,

This update affects many of the sites rankings and the blogs are De-indexed due to Jan 15-17 Google update. No one clearly know the reasons for this cause. I think all the parameters are reason for this like EMD, Unnatural content, over optimization, etc. so you need to check all the parameters i mentioned above. That may help you to escape from feature updates.

I would recommend reading through the threads about google penalties and google dances. Your site has not been penalized, it's just had a minor readjustment in SERPs. It's normal.

Exactly... fluctuations in rankngs are normal and to be expected. It's not that anything is wrong or you have done something wrong. Build new content, and bookmark it with Digg/StumbleUpon/Delicios/Reddit for quick indexing and a boost in traffic (very helpful for SEO) do this every few days or so, and I would bet your site will start moving back up
