It's too early to be sharing data right now, am seeing a lot of fluctuations across the campaigns, few mins you see massive green, next hour you seeing red.

We just need to calm down, analyse. Alot of people seems to say web 2.0 backlinks with spun content going straight to money sites are getting penalized, this is really not the case. I have monitoring sites across different niches I can tell you there is alot of fatality to white hat sites out there.

Hopefully there is reiteration of this updates.

Same for me too. I can see category posts ranking but I cant find my home page anywhere. It was on page 1. I am also seeing Press Releases I did with sbwire ranking higher than my category posts.

I still have press releases ranking in the top 3 pages for sites that were penalized with Penguin 1.0. I SPAMMED the bejeezers outta those. I guess they can take it.

Ranked 7 1st page and suddenly swim to who-would-know-land. Don't know what logic he used, but it seems an article with 1-2 % kw density would be slapped.

I like to defeat his algorithms, not him. Also I really like making fun of his name.
 
I know others have already said this, Uncle Buck et al, but the update is nowhere near complete. Just Googled my client's main keyword "something repair(s)" and in Google.co.uk it brings up results from Singapore, LA and LA results on Yelp. I'm in the UK. IP is in the UK.

Give it time (with your fingers crossed).

Mine had a slight recovery last night, but now back into the crapper. Adsense even had the nerve to put a notice in my account that showed a big red downward facing arrow that says:
"Your earnings on October 5 were 94% below forecast. This may indicate an issue with your site that you should investigate. We detected the earnings drop by comparing the money you earned to a forecast for your account."

Yes google, I would say there is certainly a fking issue..
 
I had one website that got slapped, as in, it moved down about -5 places. But its more that this website was slapped by penguin 4.0, then it moved up... and then its gone down again, I was close to cracking the first page again.

I am pretty sure I known the culprit as well. I purchased an on-going SEO provider service for this website and in retrospect, it wasn't such a great idea - my knowledge of SEO back then was not as great as mine is these days. That website is probably just a lost cause in general.

High PR links continue to work really well for me.

I started seeing my site bounce around in september, boosted up for a while. Then dropped out and one of my sites with the EXACT same content, just different URL was ranking in top 3's for multiple keywords. NO backlinks to that URL, was just using it with my old site 302'd to it for reputation management cause I got a few bad reviews that were effecting my sales.

All in all. No backlinks = sex in the ranks.

The site dropped out today, BUT I expect that the week while it was in top spot, really showed something valueable. Google's not cherishing any sort of backlinks. I've seen it over and over again in these posts on here, then saw it on my own sites.

Anyways, clearly it changed in the last day or two. And I see the same old keyword stuffed spam that ranks well for a few weeks when every update comes out. It'll change within the next few weeks to something more rational, in between it all.

Hope ross ulbrich DPR doesn't hire a hit on cutts. lol..

Seems like 'hummingbird' is another ploy to screw with people in these discussions and to convoluted the perpetuated confusion.

I've been talking about this for years and it just keeps on being justified.

Site1 - 60% DO FOLLOW / 40% Nofollow
