All speculation until they release any official word...Looks like this Google update was intended to target backlink networks? All my sape sites got hit and fell in rankings by about ~30 spots.
Not receiving a warning doesn't mean a warning doesn't take place... Google crawls your website and can detect blackhat methods regardless of if you've registered for GWT, or Analytics. GWT and Analytics isn't for them. It's for the webmaster to keep a closer eye on their website. To think that you're somehow "safer" by not registering your website with any of Google's tools shows how little you know about SEO, or how Googlebot (or any other search engine crawler) works. lol. It has ways of detecting blackhat methods when it crawls over your site. It reads through your content, and digs through the source code of all of your pages. Google Webmaster Tools doesn't somehow give Googlebot any more power over your website to do anything special to your website. It simply gives you the ability to see when there's something wrong with traffic/backlinks/etc. That being said. I have all my sites still in GWT, and I'm ranking. My main 5 sites are still in ranking, so no issues till nowBut i have heard google is sending out unnatural link warnings to people who are using public blog networks, best if you avoid adding websites to google webmaster tools.
Sorry if it came off as a personal insult... I copied and pasted that from the last post where someone said not to add sites to GWT. I figure most everyone around here knows about SEO.One of my major sites had a huge traffic dip yesterday, including SEO. But today its doing great and our keywords look all good.
Do not use GA... or BH methods on adsense sites...or google toolbar...

The post was just to avoid people like ...
from saying stuff like that. Not submitting your website to Google, not having GWT, or Analytics doesn't somehow stop Google from penalizing your website... That's not how Google works.
My graphs look quite the same, but don't worry, I believe they are going to be back in the following days.
