Google Update - 12th of July, 2019

I'm not seeing chatter of this yet, so figured it would be a good idea to start talking about it. Let's get the good ole thread started so we can consolidate and talk about the update. Seeing lots of YMYL sites get hit and take massive dumps (I live in this niche, so I haven't bothered to check other verticals). Sites like Examine, DrAxe, Selfhacked, etc.

Are you seeing increases or decreases? If so, please share details of changes made since the latest update. Would be very interested in sites that took a hit on the Core Update (June 1) that recovered today.

Quick notes, DA seems to be dominant force in ranking. Seeing lots of Medium results and whatnot (go parasites!)

Edit: Given this happened two days ago and there's not much chatter it seems to be very targeted to YMYL sites (reminds me of the payday loan update). Just spot checking and not really seeing major changes in other niches.

Yes I noticed a lot of movement. Will be interesting to hear if anyone found a pattern...

I saw movements as well. Mostly positive. Still seeing lots of movements...mostly on Google.de

I feel like most Google updates just "build on" or "amplify" previous updates. The sites that lost in the previous update, Google does A/B testing to check that the overall SERPs improved, then they amplify the upcoming release.

For example, in update #1 Google will penalize sites with 30+ PBNs (or what they think PBNs are), they see SERPs improved, so in the upcoming update they will penalize sites with 20+ such PBNs, and so on...

I also think Google is doing some tests on their algorithm. This has been going on since end of last year. They are definitely up to something.

They have built a type of quantum computer(i highly believe that), i mean come on, did not all giants like google, amazon, ibm, facebook already built this? Now they are on the verge of perfecting it. And these little updates my friends could be the courtesy of their trial run.

Is it a rollback of the medic update?

What does YMYL sites mean? Or rather what does YMYL stand for?

Hi, I do not notice any change yet. If you have any idea about that whats the new here. Please tell us
