Perhaps Google went to Google and typed in 'script kiddie faves'?
Back in 2003 I used to do stuff on the homepages of my sites - like put animated fireworks up on July 4th, falling leaves in October, and snowflakes in December.
Then I realized it was LAME!
Everything old is new again...
