What's your opinion on this - is this just my imagination or is Google Throttling real?
I’ve been experiencing something quite puzzling with my site’s organic performance. Over the past few months, I’ve managed to rank in the top 3—sometimes even #1—for some very high-volume, competitive keywords in my niche (think general terms like “loan” or “loan immediately” - non-english but still). You’d expect that hitting such prime positions for these major keywords would send traffic soaring, right? But no, still receiving very low traffic comparably and most of it is coming to other pages targeting low search volume keywords.
So to summarize:
I know many will think it's due to issues with CTR - but honestly don't think it can be any SERP features or CTR - I wouldn't rank there for months if my CTR wasn't in par with other sites, right?
I’d love to hear your experiences or any insights you might have on how to break through this apparent “traffic ceiling/throttling".

So to summarize:
- Ranking for “big” high-volume keywords: top 3 positions, sometimes #1.
- Traffic from these major terms remains disappointingly low.
- Niche, lower-volume keywords continue to drive more of the traffic (and have done so steadily over time).
- Overall site traffic levels have stayed almost exactly the same, even though the rankings for top keywords have substantially improved.
