Google Suggest Manipulation

I've been using Crowd Flower (with great success) to run Google Searches which manipulate suggestion terms.

Unfortunately SEO practices like this are now being banned from Crowd Flower.

I wondered if anybody has experienced the same problem and found an alternative solution?

does this really work? manipulating search suggestion terms via crowdsourcing?
 
It was working extremely well - but it's being banned so need to find an alternative.

Post a job with a decent daily budget asking for people search the same keyword each day. Run for about 4-6 weeks and voila, your new search suggestion will appear.

Correct. I found different IPs from the same country worked best...

But like I say, an alternative needs to be found.
 
And then when you stop paying for people to search that term, then there is no one searching for that term again?

Or have you found that the suggest feature actually brings traffic from an area that was never searched for before?
 
As I've used this to improve online reputation I've personally found that traffic starts to come through the new suggestions.

The searches have been stopped for a couple of weeks and the keywords are still there. But have a feeling they will disappear if they aren't being searched, hence why I'm looking for another option.

I don't see why it wouldn't work work with proxies. That could be a good workaround. Where would you get UK proxies from?

As long as your total searches are greater than the total searches of your current suggested keywords you'll be fine.
 
There are enough UK proxy seller and when you use shared proxies it would be cheaper then private

Sounds like the perfect solution. Do you know of any software that will be up for the job?
 
I someone once told me he did manipulate Google Searches suggestion terms with great success using Amazon. He wouldn't tell me how he did it. Maybe it's something to look into.
 
It's not that hard to code that kind of software. Use c# and webclient function which has integrated proxy, load the list of the proxy change it after every search

That way is using something called 'Amazon mechanical turk', same kind of problem though - manipulation jobs get banned.

I don't have the skills to write my own script to do multiple Google searches through a list of proxies. Does anybody know of any software that would do this job?

Google actually knows about "suspicious ips" (most public proxies are, even if they're paid ones). This is because too many bots are parsing google results through proxies. So this may be unsafe. But who knows, you can try.
