Google spam update August 25

I am working on a site, it was fine till 6th september, after that the graph has gradually grown down to nearly zero. I would like to know your experience on the update and possible reasons why it could happened?

You're likely experiencing the effects of the Google September 2025 Core Update or a recent algorithmic shift these core updates often roll out silently or gradually, and can drastically affect traffic. Since your traffic started dropping after September 6, it lines up closely with such an update.

There isn’t any core update happening in September 2025, but there could be an algorithmic shift. If there is any change happening in the Google algorithm, it is only a spam update.

We don’t see any major changes between the previous and present history of my website. We’ll wait a few more days to recheck.

Fortunately, nothing seems to be wrong, I guess. Let’s see what happens.
 
It's difficult to pinpoint the reasons even for webmasters. You should test things in a trial and error method but don't try to fix something that's not yet broken. You can rewrite or update content that you think is not up to the mark, build backlinks, interlink content, etc. to track changes.

well the thing is i have been working on different kinds of sites all them has faced this issue.

The Google spam update is still ongoing and may continue for several days or even weeks. During Google updates, fluctuations in rankings are common as a result of changes to the algorithms.
