This happens more often than people think. When Google rechecks a cluster of similar pages, anything thin or weakly linked tends to get pushed out first. One thing that helps is tightening internal anchors so the page sits naturally in the structure instead of feeling “orphan-ish.” A common mistake is tweaking titles and URLs too often that usually delays recovery instead of helping.

Absolutely agree internal anchors make a huge difference in stabilizing those borderline pages. I’ve also noticed frequent title/URL changes slow things down ,improving content depth + internal linking usually works better.
Have you seen content refresh alone bring pages back, or does it always need link adjustments too?
