Google SLAPPED me, will I get my rankings back?

I have a niche blog that ive been promoting for a month or so. Ive been using PRstorm a few days and only hit each link a few times, nothing too crazy. Today I check my stats and have 9 visitors, WTF?! So I check google and Ive been dropped to the 40-50 position for my domain. Im assuming it was because of the PRstorm. Will I ever get my rankings back or am I pretty much fucked?

You will get your rankings back in time, they are just temp penalising you because of the bullshit app that prstorm is. You should not have used it.

Your best bet now is to send out a few pings to the blog dirs and add some new content even switch out a few words and change your title a little. Then adding your domain linkback to a few niche related high pr sites that you can and wait.

Its nothing too major atleast your not fully banned so its not the worst mistake of your life i wouldnt worry about it easily fixed. It also depends how new the site is etc.... On how fast it can be fixed but if its pretty new id just wait and let it settle down a little
 
You can also write to Google online and tell them you hired a company to do SEO for you and they raped you...then ask them to please help you.

It's on the site somewhere...
 
PixelGrinder, I'm not trying to be funny here, but I think you're using the wrong terminology --- and that'll make a big difference in how you approach the big G. A "Slap" has to do with Adwords and having your campaign prices hiked. It sounds like you've been hit with a Minus Thirty Penalty. Pixel: how long have you had your site around? Is it new/old?
 
if only been promoting the site for a month or so it is quite normal for ranking to fluctuate like that in many niches. Stop spamming and you wont have anything to worry about. If you use tools , use them to assist you in your workload, not to be a pain in the arse for all the blog owners etc
 
Sounds like a familiar penalty. My experience is that the worst thing you can do is to start to alter your site based on their "rules". This results in the other engines not listing you because you pulled out all the tricks. Just accept the fact that google doesn't like what you are doing and move ahead with your plans. Sometimes these things just go away and other times you'll rewrite an entire site and never get past 40 in the serps.
 
It could be about to go off the index, PRstrom is a piece of shit in 2008 ffs. You test this stuff on domains you dont care about.

What i would do right now is start adding real content and solid backlinks. I can see this site slipping into a sup index though.. what country you in?? proxy into the us and hit a us data center to see if i site is gone.
 
Yes bro its called fresh jump. To many links in the begining to quick. No matter what you will get slapped. Just play ball and keep quality link building and adding content and you will be back better than ever...
 
even if you build links slow you will get slapped and in a few months you will start getting more traffic from google then you got from the search engines... google is probably the most volitile search engine but also the most traffic. But ever if you wasnt using that tool
the same would of happened to you...

I've been using PR Storm on one of my site (as a test, I never used this tool before) and the PR jumped from 2 to 3 after about one and a half months. So I don't really think PR storm is the problem. You just have to remember to go slow~~~~~
 
98% of new sites get slapped in the first week to 2 1/2 months. Then 3-9 months later you com out of the sandbox and you are now recieving more traffic then all other search engines together. Just keep building links. But don't be using mass contectual link networks or building 20000 links in a few months.
I got with about 1000 a month for the first year after that increase it to 5 to 10 fold
but spread it out over you site not just your home page...

Just dont over due it. You can use blackhat software for speed but use white hat link counts....

I used Prstorm and used my competitors domain!!

I am really a cheap bastard,.......
 
All my sites slaped by G remains spalled :(. No re-inclusin request, etc works for me.
 
What is the general rule to prevent getting sandboxed... as in... how many backlinks in a month seem like spam?... is 2k..or 3k ok?
