i was at number 3 for the main keyword and top 10 for other keywords, but now i checked my serp and i am at 170, 150.. etc, wtf happened? is this normal or google penalized me? in webmaster tool i didnt get any message.
Googe did an update today or yesterday?

is your domain is EMD?? if yes then Google is penalizing EMD with low quality content (Matt cutt twitted yesterday )

Yeah same thing was happened on my niche too.. but I'm more lucky LoL, my site was boost up due to 3 of my competitor get slapped..

According to me if you work hard and do all white hat SEO then Google will never penalize your website.

yah my domain is EMD, its a microniche, but my main content its original and very natural, i am reading that last thread bertbaby posted and there are a lot of things going on on google lately, i hope my site get back to top 3

I think it is done because of Google update and SERP rank changes regularly. Sorry but I don't have knowledge about EMD.
