Google skip web2.0 backlinks

blogging platforms (blogger, wordpress, etc) are web 2.0s.... although, technically, every site that allows you to interact with it it's a web 2.0 
But we, the SEOs, usually refer to blogging sites when we say web 2.0s so those are the ones that google skips. But they don't really skip them, per se, they (google) still pick up backlinks from these sites (so, these links still appear in Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc), it's just that they don't transfer link juice (page rank, authority, DR, DA, or whatever you want to call it) anymore, which is why they're not as good as they used to be. They're still worth getting just for diversity, but otherwise they're useless, even if there are 100s of them...

well you don’t create hundreds of spammy web 2.0s. 20-30 high quality ones would be more than enough.

So sad that if web 2.0s have been devalued by google, because today's high DA is the easiest to get most from web2.0blogging platforms (blogger, wordpress, etc) are web 2.0s.... although, technically, every site that allows you to interact with it it's a web 2.0

Web 2.0 just refers to any website where most of the content is user generated. So thinks like blogging platforms, StumbleUpon, Reddit, etc.
These have lost a lot of power so they need to be backed up with GSA or Xrumer. I still use them a lot in this manner.
Google seems to still index these when they have a lot of content. The days of dropping a handful of posts and getting the 2.0 indexed seem long gone.
I have a few 2.0s on weebly and tumblr that remain not only indexed but rank on page 2-4 for low to medium competitive keywords. They're providing good backlinks.
