I saw a clip of Rick & Morty on YouTube. I've never seen it, so I went to look for it online. Spoiler: AdultSwim has it all online for free. Hulu shows it, too. This is a softball in search terms, the actual sources are extremely high authority. Here's Google: Upsell, infringement, infringement, actual site, infringement, authorized copy, infringement. Bing gets this right. DuckDuckGo gets this right. What in the shit is wrong with Google? It's like the Holocaust searches again: dubious, low-authority websites with poor design easily outrank the legitimate, high-quality result. Two questions: Why is this happening, and what can we learn from it? What are the odds of Google tinkering with the algorithm to fix this general problem?
