http://www.seroundtable.com/google-update-17268.html this is what I've noticed about upcoming google updates, usually happens near the end of a quarter, close to a holiday weekend, and a preview update gets sent out then it gets rolled back and stupid old results will show up a for a few days, then bam the shit hits the fan and back to work again.

There was a big tweak on Tuesday which knocked one of my keywords from 10th onto page 2 at 12th.. plus knocked one of my other keywords from 11th down to 15th.... Mozcast and Rankranger are both reporting big shifts around that time
I had just put my last paid allowance into a mixture of Sape links and some high PR blog posts, all with high trust flow reported on MajesticSEO. I bought my Sape links from lesser known providers as well. I diversified anchor text on most of them but I think I need to add more brand ones because commercial keyword ratio is a bit too high, thats probably where my problem is. I'm hoping its just a dance after I added quite few, up until then I had not used Sape links... I was at 3rd just before Penguin 2.0 for one financial keyword and very slowly dropped down to 14th on page 2
Anyone have experience with Sape, another keyword moved up from page 4 to bottom of page 2 last 2 weeks and has now dropped down to page 4 since yesterday, maybe link building velocity is high and its dancing, maybe a filter Google has when large numbers of links come in... it needs more brand links for this page...but its going to have to wait because I have a girl and room to pay for. :05:

Read the article b1step-ahead linked to there was definitely something around the 20-21st.... I wondered if it was a Pagerank update or just the evil Penguin snooping around, probably the latter because Matthew Cutts said there would be tweaks all summer. Probably picked out some small problems with my links, luckily haven't dropped into oblivion yet, hoping I can turn it around and get back on page 1 from page 2

Google SERP updates happen constantly, you are referring to Google algorithm updates and that's another thing.

Has anyone seen Rankranger for the last few days, it says 'Predator causing panic' for last Tuesday when my site got booted to 12th from 9th and then things have been dodgy ever since last Tuesday as the graph shows.....
I really need to get back on page 1, I don't know what these algorithm tweaks are targeting but I need to know! I'm sure its link velocity or something sly which Google are fooling people with

somethings up right now, if you google sony a giant box is surrounding the #1 result same with other brand searches. Saw this early last week for a couple of hours.
Yeah Google is playing with a lot of Knowledge Graph stuff and branded searches.
Alot of unnatural link warnings sent out today, I think the update is re-targeting sape (from my own research). I have a website that is just SAPE links and it's been given a manual penalty. I think that is what the update was looking at.
My rankings are still stable. I think the sudden change of many of your sites has to do with SAPE links. Google is sending many manual notices on links spam to sites with sape links and thats probably their next target, just as it was with the other link networks when they got deindexed some time ago.

In my network of IMers, people are getting unnatural link messages and most of them have incoming Russian links.
