Google serp dancing

Hello,
Please help me to figure out problem to my website internal page.

My home page is ranking on 8th page for one particular keyword. we are targeting that specific keyword on our internal page also, our home page has different keywords but that internal page has exact keywords we are targeting. Our internal page shown up on 12th page of Google but now dissappread completly and this is happening week after week sometimes appear and some times completely dissappear. We have checked our robots, meta nofollow index tag, virus non of these problem are associate with that page then why this is happening?.

It appears that your search query is hitting different data centers that show different builds of the index.

So why this happening only for that particular page?

Just continue to do what you do AND BESIDES, you won't get ANY traffic when you go beyond 2nd page. If the homepage is at #1 while the targeted inner page is not even in top 100 then that's the concern.

Perhaps your keyword is caught in Google dancing. As such keywords come and go from top 10 SERPs.

This happens if you have been targeting the same keyword for long time.

1. Dont just rush to it.
2. Use synonyms and different combination of your keywords as anchor text.
3. Use naked urls also. Google gives good weightage to naked urls as they look natural.
4. And try and get good and quality back links from high ranked sites. This will really boost performance of your site.

Quality content and natural back links are all what your site needs to rank top in serps.
