Google-selected canonical issue? how to fix

That is when I try to index my home page, what is that site I am completly lost of what is happening? I don't even know who owns that site yesiimods?

Google is treating yesiimods.com as the main version of your homepage, which might happen because of duplicate content, stronger links to their site, or issues with your site's settings. How are we expected to help with the information you provide? It could be a hundred things but from your post, all we know is the reason Google gave. Is your content same as the site they mention? If not, have you checked previous versions of your site? jhave you checked previous versions of their sites? Have you checked previous owner information? It seems that somewhere along theline, either the canonical was set or Google dynamicly allocated it. You need to find out why, then ensure its completely different, build doms authority and then hope it figures itout. Personaly, if it s anew project, i would start on a different domain as its not a great start and could take months to figure out.

As morgan456 said, G chose that page as the main version.
Had this before when somebody copied my entire site... I used DMCA to take that site down and all was working fine again.
Please note, I only had 1 or 2 pages with this issue.

Hello, I'm having trouble with the same problem. I believe the other person maliciously used this method to steal my Google search results. Is that resolved now? I also have a competitor's site in Google-selected canonical, not mine, in Google Search Console.

The page doing the copying, did it have higher DA?
To the OP, is your DA less than yesiimmods //.com?
