Hi,

I've using IP address for my website for some reason.
But whenever I want to submit my sitemap, the status is always Couldn't Fetch.
May I know how to fix this?

For me all newly submitted sitemaps GSC shows Couldn't Fetch.
Later, after week or two it shows OK.

Give it some time, the sitemap wouldn't fetch instantly for some reasons. Have happened to me before but it is automatically corrected itself.

Open your sitemap in a new tab and check if it's loading normally. If it loads, then it's fine and should work.

In many cases, this is a cache issue, give it some days then it will showing okay again.

How you have created your sitemap, manual or used plugin or online. Check out error and check page last cache date to find out how Google is caching your webpage.

This error may occur if you submitted your sitemap URL incorrectly. ... xml" and not the page URL (e.g., "/homepage"). If it was submitted incorrectly, go ahead and submit it again.

You might've removed the SEO plugin that was used to create sitemap
Happens all the time with Yoast
