Duplicate without user choosing a canonical page

Do they mean i have duplicate content om my site?

Over 400 pages has the error
Crawled – not currently indexed


Another 200+ pages has
Discovered – not currently indexed

Could it be just building backlinks to these 600 sites and see whats happens?

Right now i am adding posts and trying to build backlinks, any other ideas what i can do?

Do whatever google suggest if you're trying to rank for google. But I suggest that you try to rank for other search engines as well, google has become too demanding.
